"But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people. Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or course joking, which are out of place." - Ephesians 5:3-4

Why PureHeart?
The name, PureHeart, came to me during a morning devotion. From Matt. 5:8, Heb. 12:14: It takes an undivided heart to believe under such circumstances and a pure heart to see God. PureHeart Ministries! Men are tempted by their desires. Desires and passions come from one's heart. Satan may dangle a carrot in front of me, but it is MY desires that tempt me. My desires come from my heart. A dirty, filthy, calloused heart will desire perverse things. A Pure Heart will desire things of God! Our goal should be to earnestly seek and strive for a pure heart.

Purpose Statement
To strengthen and encourage fellow believers by freely sharing our own spiritual journey, the good and bad, such that spiritual maturity may result. We partner with individuals who earnestly desire change for mentoring, accountability and shepherding.

Through the redeeming blood of Jesus Christ lives are being purified from the addictive habits of sin, and victory is being achieved.

PureHeart Ministries Faith Statements

We believe in the power of prayer.

James 5:16
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

We believe there is power in numbers. We, as Christians, need to learn from and lean on each other. Accountability - Community - Mentoring - Shepherding

Titus 2:6-8
6 Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded. 7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, 8 Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.

Romans 12:10
10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another.

We believe there is forgiveness from God and we believe we must learn to forgive ourselves.

Romans 8:1-2
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Matthew 6:12
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

We believe that we must set the example by living our lives with Godly integrity in all: thoughts, words, actions and reactions.

Ephesians 5:3-4
But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people. Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or course joking, which are out of place.

We believe in order for PureHeart Ministries to be successful, we must provide an atmosphere in which individuals experience unconditional love, understanding and a non-judgemental atmosphere.

2 Corinthians 5:20-21
20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us; we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. 21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

2 Timothy 4:12
12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

Matthew 7:1-2
1 Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

We believe by the subject matters that this ministry focuses on that we are battling both the flesh and forces of the spiritual realm.

Ephesians 6:12
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Romans 7:21-25
21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. 22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man. 23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. 24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? 25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

We believe there is victory in Jesus and lives can change. We do not merely want accountability sessions to result in weekly confession!

Luke 11:3
3 Give us day by day our daily bread.

Acts 17:11
11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

2 Corinthians 4:16
16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

Romans 12:1-2
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

We believe the Bible is the holy inspired word of God and is applicable yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Hebrews 4:12
12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Joshua 1:8
8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein; for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Timothy 3:16
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.
